The Nowthen Threshing Show will have golf carts available for rental during the show again this year. Available for rental are four person golf carts only. Quantities are limited. Carts can be rented ahead of time through our presale, subject to availability. The presale allows you to reserve your cart for the day of the show you wish to attend and guarantees a cart will be there waiting for you. Or you can wait until the day of show and rent at the show on a first come first served basis, subject to availability. See the frequently asked questions below for more information.

FAQ's
- Who qualifies?
Any person over the age of 18 with a valid driver’s license may rent. Proof of valid license is required by the driver.
- How long do I have the golf cart for?
Presale Rentals are for full day rentals ONLY. Failure to return a cart at the proper time may result in additional charges. If you wait to rent at the day of the show, they can be rented for four hour or full day increments, if carts are available.
- What are the rules?
There are a few rules that each renter must accept.
- a. All drivers must be at least 18 years old AND have a valid driver’s license.
- b. Drive responsibly and safely. No drinking and driving. No overloading the cart.
- c. For safety reasons and the enjoyment of all patrons, all motorized traffic is restricted on Main Street. No Exceptions. Renters found parked or driving on Main Street will have their rental agreement vacated, and the golf cart returned to NHPA without a refund.
- d. For safety reasons, motorized traffic is restricted in the flea market and small engine area to only those vehicles used by attendees displaying a valid handicap registration tag. Violators will have their rental agreement vacated, and the golf cart returned to NHPA without a refund.
- e. Regardless of the weather, the show is open. As such, any presale of rented golf carts are not refundable. Sorry, no exceptions.
- When must I rent?
NHPA offers a presale on full day rentals. Otherwise, you can wait and rent that day for either four hours or full day, subject to availability. We have a limited number of carts, so rentals are a first come first served on that day as carts are available. Read above for presale status.
- What is the cost? (cash or check only)
- a. Presale rentals (cash or check only):
- i. Four Person (full day): $90
- b. At Show (cash or check only), subject to the availability of a golf cart.:
- i. Four Person: 4 hrs - $60 / full day - $90
- c. PLUS SECURITY DEPOSIT (cash or check only): $50
- i. A $50 security deposit will be due at the time of picking up the cart (cash or check only). That deposit will be refunded upon the safe return of the golf cart. If damage occurs, that deposit will be forfeited forthwith.
- What is the earliest time I can pick up a golf cart?
The golf carts will be available beginning at 8:00 a.m. just inside the main gate on the east side of the grounds.
- What is the latest a cart can be out?
All carts must be returned by 6:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. Sunday) regardless of when they were rented. Golf carts can only be rented for full day or four hour increments but will be rented throughout the day as they are available. This means if you choose to rent a cart for four hours at 3:00 p.m., it must still be returned by 6:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. Sunday) but will still be charged the full price.
- How many people can a golf cart fit?
These are four person golf carts, so four persons. Overloading of the carts is prohibited.
