Every year the Nowthen Threshing Show selects a brand of tractor and engine as the feature at the show. These items are the spotlight during the Parade of Power and often draw a larger number and greater variety of these tractors and engines. All types of tractors, engines, and implements are welcome at the grounds, but the feature gives a particular type of tractor or engine the opportunity to shine. Hello Everyone,On the evening of June 10th the board of directors unanimously voted to cancel the 2020 Nowthen Threshing Show. This step is not taken lightly, and the board has been working each of the last three months on evaluating options and hoping for the best. The safety of our members and guests is our number one concern. The board also needs to ensure the fiscal viability of the organization. Due to the uncertainty involved with the Pandemic of the Novel Coronavirus we simply can’t risk having a show this year. We understand that this is disappointing to many and we are disappointed as well. We will continue to evaluate conditions to see if our fall events can take place. For now, all events planned on the grounds through the end of August are cancelled. Our features will be bumped a year, so we hope you will join us for our 50th Annual Nowthen Threshing Show on August 20-22, 2021.
